Originally established in 1792 as Maison Martin before its transformation by François Goyard in 1853, French luxury label Goyard holds the distinction of being the longest-standing Parisian trunk-maker. Having since expanded further into the realm of fashion with its premium leather accessories and signature all-over “Y” print, the brand recently opened its latest flagship storefront in Taipei at the Regent Galleria.
Meant to evoke the look and ambience of its 233 rue Saint-Honoré headquarters in Paris, the boutique is decorated in brass and mahogany and offers the label’s latest and most coveted pieces alongside decorative relics highlighting its history over the past two centuries.
